ABOUT US
Fire Hawk is a long-time father-and-son collaboration led by Santaquin natives Tom and Marty Manzanares. Founded in 1983 after Tom’s departure from the well-known band The Chapparals, Fire Hawk quickly carved out a name for itself in the Utah music scene. A decade later, in 1993, Tom’s oldest son Marty joined as lead guitarist and vocalist—cementing the family partnership that has driven the band’s success ever since.
Today, Fire Hawk features some of the most sought-after musicians in the Mountain West, including Randy Corbett (drums), Tony Chavez (lead guitar), and Greg Restad (steel guitar, lead guitar). Together, they deliver an unforgettable live experience that blends the heart of classic and modern country with the energy of rock. Known for their edgy sound, dynamic showmanship, and genuine connection with audiences, Fire Hawk has become one of Utah’s premier country-rock bands.
Over the course of their career, Fire Hawk has shared the stage with nationally recognized acts such as King Calaway, Chris LeDoux, The Bellamy Brothers, Restless Heart, Ty Herndon, Mel McDaniel, Highway 101, Ricochet, and Dan Seals. With a reputation for excellence and a passion for performing, Fire Hawk continues to light up stages across the region—proving that great music and great energy never go out of style.
